Surgery

Surgery is often viewed as the last option for correcting health care problems. When medically necessary, the physicians at Statesboro OB/GYN Specialists have the luxury of performing most surgical procedures in our own accredited surgery center, The Women's Surgery Center. Our surgery center is dedicated exclusively to women and offers the most minimally invasive procedures that previously required a hospital setting. We employ friendly front office clerks, licensed RNs, certified medical assistants, and five Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologists who are highly trained and experienced surgeons in their field. We have a surgery coordinator, who works to correspond with you and your insurance company to pre-authorize your procedure and schedule with the doctor of your choice. Each of us participates in your care, ensuring an accurate diagnosis, a prompt treatment, and a healthy recovery.
